How does Whiskcam work?

What video quality does it record?

Does it need WiFi or an app?
No. Whiskcam records directly to the included 32GB MicroSD card. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no app, no account required.
How do I watch the videos on my phone?
Use the included MicroSD to USB-C adapter. Plug it into your phone and the videos are right there. On Android, they play natively. On iPhone, use the free VLC app or import via the Files app.
About my pet
Is it safe for my cat?
Yes. At only 26g, Whiskcam is lighter than most collar tags. Designed for cats and small dogs weighing 3kg (6.5 lbs) and above. Most cats forget it is there within minutes. We recommend using a breakaway collar for outdoor cats.
Will it bother my pet?
Most pets ignore it completely after the first few minutes. The camera is small (2.8 x 2.1 x 5.8 cm) and lightweight. Start with short sessions to let your pet get used to it.
Does it work for dogs?
Yes! The included collar fits cats and small dogs. For medium or large dogs, you can clip the camera onto their existing collar or harness.
Is it waterproof?
No. Whiskcam is designed for dry indoor and outdoor use. Do not use it in rain or water.
